Description:
Figure from part of a set of 27 from a Daoist tomb in the Longhushan area of Kiangxi Province. Unglazed figure of guardian, wearing full quilted armor, and elaborate helmet. Around his neck is curled a snake like, four footed dragon, its head held in the guardian's right hand, tail in the left.
