Description | Woven grass "ehjera" basket with a matching domed lid. Both are brightly decorated with bands of dyed grass in pink, yellow, purple and blue. The lid fits quite securely and is covered with three striped bands of dyed grass. The crest of the domed lid is of eight concentric coils some dyed and some natural; a hide thong forms the handle. |
