Description | Rectangular shield, with carved decoration consisting of areas made up of rows of small relief squares, smooth lozenge-shaped area in center. Small holes at (vertical) center, in from sides (no fiber loop). White and pinkish pigments. Group of marks, vaguely like letters (s, u, v, etc.) on bottom, back. SImilar to 84-2-16 and texture of design (relief squares in rows), and placement of holes for fiber loop. See card for 84-2-16. |
