Description | A pottery vessel in the shape of a bird. The body is round with a flat base and the head sticking out from one side. Short wings and a tail are formed in the clay and painted with straight lines in black to simulate feathers. Lines are painted down the back of the bird with arched triangles pointed outward. The head has an opening at the top which is painted black. The eyes are painted black and the beak is black only along the sides. The base is painted red. |
