Description | Shape as Attic 5th c. pottery oinochoe, Beazley, ARV^2 shape 9. Broad bottom at outer edge. Resting surfacr, bevelled in profile so that pot sits on its inner edge. Broad, rounded body, gtst. in diam. at shouler; continuous profile from foot to lip. Relatively constricted neck. Overhanging lip, molded in profile. Handle arches above lip and is attached below on shoulder, terminating ina relief palmette. Intact save for breaks in wall at neck and lower body. |
