Description | Banded obsidian. Orientation of artifact problematical (large harpoon inset?). Base (?): straight, probably at right angles to longitudinal axis. Flaking driven off it parallel to longitudinal axis. Two sets of scars, those on the artifact surface, and those which are marginal. Small notch joins edges of base and tip. Tip (?): Edges arcuate. Two distinct flake scars - those extending over surface and those which are marginal. Flake scars shallow. Each surface has small discontinuous polished areas. Artiface broken. Half remains (?). |
