Description | Two separate cast pieces. a rectangular mounting plate with edges rounded on the sides beveled at front, curved to fit outside of object with very large D. or shallow arc. Two drilled holes, D. c. 0.5 cm, 3.5 cm apart on centers piercing shallow cast recesses on back, D. c. 1.2 cm. Cast with a flange that was bent around to form a hinge for the handle piece. Handle is roughly oval in shape (not quite symmetrical) and oval in section, with a straight round bar on one side fitted into the hinge. Uneven patina, fairly smooth green to blackish. |
