Description | Round lid with a cord (round cross-section) handle on the top of the lid. No decoration. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior and a burnished finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the bottom side. Black ink on the bottom side reads: "2339a." |
