Description | Maskette puppet. "Representing head of an animal." Long snout; slit mouth lined with red. Corners of eyes incised. Some detail car-ving on face. Black paint: pupils, heavy eye-brows, markings on face and jaw. Face outlined with small twigs (broken on left side) inserted in holes. Head flat at back and nailed to neck of flat stick representing body, with projection at bottom for support. |
