No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has an orange slip (?) with white painted snakes and stripes. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a scraped finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. Evidence of usewear includes residue on the interior. There are black accretion at the interior. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2734." |
