Description | Flat lid, one end projecting upward several inches. Box almost square, sides not as wide as front and back. Horizontal parallel grooves cover surfaces of three sides except for plain borders. Sides made of kerfed and bent piece of wood, nailed or pegged at fourth corner. Bottom fitted and nailed in. Corners cut open a little on outside. Two holes in upper border on both "sides" for strings which tie on lid. TOMMY scratched on back of lid. |
