Description | Large, wooden handled, padded mallet, dark stained wood, carved with geometric designs. Hole at end for cord. Wooden head is padded with several layers of cloth, final covering missing. Band of black material with gold designs between head and handle. Used with mokugyo gong, wooden fish gong used by Buddhists. |
