Description | "Digger Indians". Geometric designs in dark blue, turquoise, white, red and yellow beads. Band closes with one white glass button and loop. Twelve (originally nineteen) trapezoidal abalone shells are suspended from band by single strands of beads. Pendant rectangular beaded band sewn on near closure; had three rows of four each of similar abalone shells suspended on single beaded strands; 6 remain. Five thin beaded strips hang from bottom of this band (half of one missing). 1 abalone shell piece is loose. |
