Description | one of 18 neck fragments of Jugs, engraved with faces Fragment. The vessel has a modeled face on the neck with eyes, ears, and nose. There are incised lines and punctate dots also decorating the neck. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the interior. No other numbers are visible on the object. |
