Description | Brass rattle with wood handle. Oval piece of brass doubled over and held together on open sides by cord passed through three drilled holes, and at the open end by the wood handle with a split at end into which is slipped and a nail passed through the 4 thicknesses. Handle also strengthend with cord wrapping just below joining. Presumably pebbles enclosed in folded brass. |
