Description | One half of a pair of wooden swim goggles. There is a hole at the inner side for attachment to the other goggle, and a hole at the outer side for securing around the head. A small ring of twisted fiber is threaded through this second hole. Originally there was a piece of glass cut to fit the front groove of the goggle, cemented in place using glue made from boiled sap of the breadfruit tree. |
