Description | Miniature kotyle. Buff clay. Dull, mostly fugitive black glaze. Foot barely articulated; narrow body; straight flaring sides. Small loop handles applied at rim horizontally. Interior originally solidly glazed, as were the central segments of outer faces of handles. Horizontal zigzag on rim zone between the handles; red band below this. Narrow line, then entire lower body and outer face of foot glazed. Underside glazed aside from resting surface of foot and reserved circle at center. Intact. |
