Description | Fragment of a decorated wall from the palace of Merenptah, Room 7, left side. Incised and filled decoration. At the left is a partial cartouche frame. In the center is a notched palm frond. At the right is half of a cartouche with the "tA.wj" element of the epithet "Lord of the Two Lands," followed by a portion of Merenptah's cartouche. This piece is one of four that fit together (CG2015-9-262, CG2015-9-263, CG2015-9-264, and CG2015-9-265). |
