Description

Iron chop, or seal. Square stamp surface engraved with four characters in a deformed Hui script (Hu script) within two concentric squares. Topped with knob with two indented lines on each side of knob. Hole at waisted area below knob. Strung on beige cord. Traces of gilding where indented. Traces of red pigment on stamp surface. For use with sealing wax, 96-17-5. Used for sealing parcels, letters, documents, packages, etc.
