Description | Grey, fine-grained with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Artifact is of a lanceolate shape with straight tang element edges which contract towards the base. Base is at oblique angle to longitudinal axis and is slightly convex. Flakes are driven off it parallel to the longitudinal axis. The flake scares are, in part, parallel to each other and diagonal to edges. They meet to form slight median ridge. Artifact is broken perpendicular to longitudinal axis. |
