Description | Pale buff clay with reddish-brown slip. High round base, globular body, tall neck set in sharply gtom shoulder. A vertical break from the top of the spout to about 2/3 of the way down the neck prevents description of the spout. The handle is also missing. Slipped areas are the foot, shoulder, and remaining portion of the neck. The reserved belly is decorated with an indeterminate floral motif in the same reddish brown slip. |
