Tuesday, September 16, 6:00 pm New Member Welcome Event
New members will receive a behind-the-scenes look at some of the Museum's precious gold artifacts presented by Lucy Fowler Williams, Ph.D., and William Wierzbowski, Keepers of the American Section, in celebration of our upcoming exhibition Beneath the Surface: Life, Death and Gold in Ancient Panama. Tuesday, September 30, 4:00 to 6:00 pm New Conservation and Teaching Labs: Dedication Ceremony and Reception Loren Eiseley Society members
Loren Eiseley Society members are invited to a dedication ceremony for the Museum's new state-of-the-art conservation and teaching labs, with an opportunity to tour the labs and a reception. Saturday, October 18, 1:00 to 4:00 pm Member Appreciation Day
Join us for International Archaeology Day at the Penn Museum with activities throughout the Museum. In appreciation of your membership, you may also enjoy a complimentary dessert and an additional 10% discount (20% total) at the Museum Shops. Thursday, November 13, 6:00 pm Annual Curator's Party Expedition Circle and Loren Eiseley Society members
Adam Smith, Ph.D., Assistant Curator in the Asian Section, will showcase objects not usually on display in the Museum's Chinese instrument collection for Expedition Circle and Loren Eiseley Society members. A reception will follow.
Young Friends Events

Wednesday, October 15, 6:00 - 9:30 pm Paranormal Museum
You're invited to find out what happens when the lights go out at the Penn Museum with “paranormal” flashlight tours, eerie ghost stories, and close encounters with a mummy make this an evening you won't soon forget. Admission: $20; $15, Penn Museum members (includes one free drink for guests 21 and older).
Women's Committee Events
Since 1937 the Women's Committee has been dedicated to assisting the Penn Museum in countless ways, including raising awareness and funds through events ranging from auctions to galas.
