Description

The Shape of Things to Come: Developing Collections of Antiquities and Archaeological Materials in the 21st Century

Timothy Rub, The George D. Widener Director and Chief Executive Officer, Philadelphia Museum of Art, is the featured speaker. Given the increasingly polarized debate about the acquisition and presentation of antiquities and archaeological materials in art museums, what options might be available to these institutions to enable them to continue to develop their collections and to present a broad and reasonably up-to-date survey of the art of the ancient world?

Admission: Pay-what-you-want.
