This short film by director Caro MacDonald offers a glimpse of life for Japanese women in a quite atypical profession-sumo wrestling. Dr. Ayako Kano, University of Pennsylvania East Asian Studies, discusses the film. The program is presented in association with the 2011-2012 Penn Humanities Forum on Adaptations, with support from Penn's Center for East Asian Studies.
