World Culture Days


See the whole world... all under one roof! The Penn Museum's popular World Culture Series is designed to introduce visitors of all ages to the rich cultural traditions found throughout the Museum's galleries and, indeed, throughout the world. Mark your calendar for these upcoming Saturday celebrations.

Family Second Sunday Workshops

Join a Penn Museum educator every second Sunday of the month from September-May to learn new perspectives about ancient and contemporary cultures through hands-on activities. Each Workshop includes a craft, touchable artifacts, and gallery activities. All activities are free with admission donation. Attendees may drop in anytime between 1:00pm - 4:00pm to participate in the Workshop.

Penn Museum's Summer Wonder July Wednesday morning series celebrates the diversity of the world's cultures with five weeks of performance art.

Penn Museum's Summer Wonder Wednesday July morning series features a fun and diverse lineup of performances and demonstrations perfect for children ages 6 to 13 and the whole family.  Enjoy international music, learn traditional Middle Eastern dance, hear stories from around the world, and more!  Programs run from 11 am to noon, leaving time to visit the Museum.
