Bring your natural curiosity and craftiness into FREE live learning sessions by Penn Museum educators. Every Tuesday, join these 30-minute sessions—perfect for kids in elementary to middle school—to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects you can try at home!

Artifacts share clues that help us learn about world cultures. Step into the role of an anthropologist to unpack interesting information that artifacts can tell us, just by using your eyes. Learn the skills to decode secrets about artifacts by closely observing, questioning, and talking about them. Bring along a pencil and paper to track your field notes as we look closely at objects related to the ancient skies.

Recommended Materials: Paper and pencils, crayons, or markers.
