Bring your natural curiosity and craftiness into FREE live learning sessions by Penn Museum educators. Every Tuesday, join these 30-minute sessions—perfect for kids in elementary to middle school—to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects you can try at home!

Incantation bowls were made in the Middle East roughly 1,500 years ago and used to protect people from evil. The designs and text were meant to confuse and trap evil spirits. Join Museum educators to learn how they were used, then create your own incantation bowl to bring you good luck and keep bad things away.
