Description | Sash for a boy of lowest class. Three broad, lengthwise stripe. The outer two stripes are red, the center is red and yellow mixed. Stripes are separated by narrow, dark blue stripes. Ends fringed. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 44 epi, two singles, Z twist, red, blue, yellow and pink cotton. Weft: 26 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
