Description | Plain weave cotton cloth; navy, white, green, purple and chartreuse stripes parallel with selvedge; stylized animal and geometric forms embroidered in varicolored silk thread. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 64 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, cotton. Weft: 18 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - two faced. 1 panel - 4 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
