Description
Miniature alabastron with rounded body and no handles. Fine, pink (7.5 YR 7-8/4) clay, with decoration in brown to black paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Bands on rim and at base; foliate band on body. Comments: LM IB. Compare Coldstream and Huxley, eds. 1973: pl. 81, no. 27 (Kythera). For the shape compare Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 8, no. 38 (Gournia).
