Description

Round sue-ware (須恵器) pot (提瓶) with narrow neck widening slightly to plain lip. Pilgrim flask-like shape but slightly rounder. A flattened pellet of clay pressed on to shoulder at either side of mouth. Markings as if turned. Gray ware. Numerous imperfections in clay. Beige in color, partially. One side light orangish coating.
