Description

Multicolored horizontal stripes-interspaced with jaspe strips. Stripe colors: dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, red, white. Bought in Guatemala City.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 34 epi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Two singles, Z twist, indigo cotton in selvedge. Weft: 26 ppi, single, Z twist, yellow, indigo/white jaspe cotton. Two singles, Z twist, green, purple, cotton. Two ply, blue cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Woven on a foot loom."
