Description | Man's cotton. Red ground with thin navy stripes. Two panels embroidered together. Center brocaded in geometric design. Red tassels on four corners attached with orange thread. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 36 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and navy cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
