Description

Old huipil or servietta turned into a table runner (as per R. Senyk). Sewn lengthwise instead of sideways. Blue cotton with geometric borders in many colors. Blue, yellow, purple, green, white and rose cotton. Rose, gold and purple silk.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 64 epi, two singles, Z twist, indigo cotton. Weft: 27 ppi, two singles, Z twist, indigo cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Two panels, four selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
