Description | White cotton ground, knotted lace border with colored fringe, float weave, long selvedge stripes in green. Bands of flower designs and stripes of red and purple in block design. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 56 epi (64 epi in borders) 2 ply white and 2 ply green. Weft: floral border 26, 2 singles, Z-twist. Supplemental weft: double faced multicolored. Center - white overshot. Made on a backstrap loom." |
