Description | Side of bowl from base to rim. Rounded bowl with plain smooth rim band curving inwards. shallow pot (浅鉢). Just below rim band is raised edge with short slashes. Arching sweeping incised lines curve around sides of the vessel. Jomon Horinouchi-style (堀の内式) Dark black to brown surface. Gray clay. |
