Description

Red cotton ground with yellow and green cotton and purple silk brocading. Stylized flower and chevron motifs. Bird motif in blue. Twined fringe on ends.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, three singles, Z twist, red, yellow and green cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, four singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom."
