Description | Red cotton with light, dark blue stripes. Band of silk brocading near each end in purple with green, orange and yellow. Both ends fringed. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and indigo cotton. Weft: 28 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
