Description | This object is a lithic and is 8 ¼ inches long. Both the ANSP and loan numbers are visible on one of the long, rounded edges. The lithic is clearly pecked except at the working edge. Both sides of the lithic are flat but the edges are thick and rounded. One side is flatter than the other. The working edge is ground smooth and squared off rather than rounded. On the flatter side, it is gray stone with flecks of red and brown staining. On the less flat side, it is gray stone with red and yellow staining. |
