Description | Indigo cotton warp with close weft stripes of indigo-white jaspe and indigo in plainn weave. Green, orange, rose, purple and light blue narrow stripes in twill weave. Made of two breadths loosely sewn together and seamed from top to bottom. Multicolor randa 1.1cm started. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 42 epi, single, Z twist, indigo cotton. Weft: 34 ppi, single, Z twist, white/indigo jaspe, indigo cotton and 2 ply cotton in yellow, green, blue, red and magenta. Balanced plain weave." |
