Description | Sue-ware (須恵器) pot (平瓶) . Body is a globe shape with flattened bottom. Mouth assymetrically placed on top side. Two lugs on top center near mouth. Neck with plain rim. Missing large piece of mouth and rim. Markings as if turned. Numerous imperfections in clay. Grey and black mottled coloring. Iron stain on bottom near side. Uneven at bottom center with fiber(?) impressions. |
