Description | Thin with white glaze (now somewhat iridescent) on both surfaces. Small ring foot, lower sides expanding, upper, vertical. Black painted decoration: on interior, 4 floral motifs radiating from bottom to rim; on exterior; 7 motifs on side and a black band with reserve inscription at rim. Restored from sherds; some plaster. “Exterior decorated with negative inscription carved through black slip beneath clear transparent glaze, interior with black foliate decoration beneath clear transparent glaze.” |
