Description

This object is a lithic and is 6 ⅓ inches long. Both the ANSP and loan numbers are visible, placed on a rounded edge. The lithic is plano-convex, and there is a flat to channeled surface on the ventral face toward the working edge. The sides of the channel are angled while the interior of the channel is flat. The stone is rough. The tip of the working edge is ground smooth. There is a semicircular divot about 2 ¼ inches long on the rounded face further from the working edge. The rounded face is gray-brown with a gradient of orange staining that grows lighter as it approaches the working edge. The flat face is gray-brown with orange staining.
