Description | Large fragmentary figure of gray stone, apparently sandstone. Relatively thin with moderately high relief in front, low relief on back. Part below waist missing, also other breakage. Female; arms flexed with open hands held below breasts. Rectangular hat or forehead ornament with conical crown, typical of Huaxtec. Circular ear-ornaments. Probably a deity, unknown. Back flat with low relief know [?] and other ornamentation. |
