Description

Navy blue plaid cotton jaspe. Green pin-stripe check; with jaspe strips forming larger plaid over green-pin-strip check base. Jaspe strips bound by varicolored Always worn pleated, not wrap around. Common also in Tactic and San Pedro Carcha.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 42 epi, single, Z twist, navy, green and white cotton. Two singles, Z twist, red, purple and white cotton. Single, Z twist, white/navy jaspe. Weft: 40 ppi, single, Z twist, navy, green, white/navy jaspe cotton. Supplementary weft is two singles, green and white cotton overshot. Woven on a floor loom."
