Description | All purpose cotton cloth, "Panuelo." Red with yellow pinstripes. Brocaded spots and "V" shapes in green and yellow. Some embroidered zigzag designs and plant motifs. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Two singles, Z twist, yellow cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Two panels, two selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
