Description

All purpose cotton cloth, "Panuelo." Red with yellow pinstripes. Brocaded spots and "V" shapes in green and yellow. Some embroidered zigzag designs and plant motifs.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Two singles, Z twist, yellow cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, single, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Two panels, two selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
