Description

Smooth, tapered wooden pestle with two carved rings at top, surmounted by a standing human figure. Figure's hands (?) touch pair of openwork loops in front of legs. Band of relief carving (mostly zig-zag) across lower back and down outsides of legs. Above the figure's head are a plain ring, a band of low relief designs, and a decorative finial.
