Description | Geometrical design in brown, yellow and blue on brown cloth. Fragment of a plain weave cotton cloth, with a supplemental "embroidery" design (most likely added while on loom). No selvages present. Heavy white yarns used as a joining method in interior (most likely an indigenous repair). Color(s): Brown ground fabric; brown, yellow, green (blue?) and black design. |
