Description
Rim-sherd from a jug or jar. Fine, pinkish gray (7.5YR 7-8/2) clay with a darker core, with decoration in black paint and added white paint. Wiped with water and burnished. Band on rim, inside and out. Frieze of joined rosette spirals. Added white: thin band on outside of rim. Comments: LM IA. For this motif at Gournia see Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 7, nos. 26 and 32.
