Description | Point or arrowhead. Thin, elongated and triangular point with concave base and pointed barbs. One of the barbs is missing. Tip missing. Circular drill mark in center on one side. White opaque stone. This is one of more than forty bifacially retouched arrowheads with concave bases in the collection. This form of arrowhead occurs in sites from the Jomon to Yayoi Period. They can be found throughout Japan. |
